The Apparatus of the Eclectic Fire Department

 801.jpg (3361 bytes) Engine 801- This is Eclectic’s primary engine.  It is a 1998 model E-One class A pumper which is capable of pumping 1250gpm and carries 1000 gallons of water

811.jpg (2585 bytes) Tanker 811- 811 is a 1984 Ford Grumman.  It is our department’s oldest and the only manual transmission apparatus.  811 has a 250gpm pump and a 1200 gallons tank

812.jpg (2903 bytes) Tanker 812- 812 is a 1997 model cab and chassis with a 2007 pump and tank.  It has a 500gpm pump and a 2000 gallon tank. This truck also carries all of the department’s extrication equipment.  Like many volunteer departments we are understaffed in the day time.  It is feasible for our department to have multi use apparatus.

836.jpg (4546 bytes) Rescue 836- 836 is a BLS, non-transporting 1999 Ford Econoline van.  This truck serves as a back up to our department’s ALS ambulance as well as a service truck.  Along with BLS supplies this truck carries all equipment necessary to classify it as an ISO qualified service truck. 

820.jpg (5534 bytes)Brush 820- 820 is a 1998 Chevrolet 2500 with a high pressure, low volume pump which carries 200 gallons of water. This truck is our primary grass/brush truck.

822.jpg (5534 bytes) Brush 822- 822 is a 1987 Ford F-350 which also has a high pressure, low volume pump.  This truck carries 300 gallons of water.

EMS1.jpg EMS 1- EMS-1 is a 24 hour a day seven day a week ALS equipped transport ambulance.  With our department’s ever growing community, the needs of EMS 1 have proven themselves time and again.  EMS 1 is staffed with 1 full-time director, two part-time EMT/Drivers, and a host of ALS, BLS, and EVOC volunteers that keep EMS 1 staffed.
